Born November 18, 1954 to Narcissa Reyes Morales and Frank G. Morales, went to be with her Lord April 19, 2017 at 10:30 PM. Eva was preceded in death by her father Frank; mother Narcissa; sisters Linda Brady and Pina Carrasco; and, nephew Gilbert Adams. Eva is survived by her brother Moses Ruiz; sisters Delma Morales, Ana Morales, Deann O’Lenick (David); nephews Raymond Adams (Monica), Larry Adams and niece Cathleen Nichole Green.
Eva attended Pyote Elementary School and Monahans Middle and High School. She started work immediately following high school for TXU, working in the Monahans office and transferring to the Irving call center, working for TXU for a remarkable 34 years. She went on to work for Cap-Gemini, Country Wide/Bank of America, and then to Interim Healthcare Home Care and Hospice.
Eva was known by her family and friends as a matriarch of the family, a loving woman, and a caring and compassionate friend, neighbor, and co-worker. She loved to bake and cook for her family and friends, and she was known for her banana pudding, rum cake, and Thanksgiving cornbread dressing. She was kind hearted, caring for everyone.
As friends and co-workers have shared stories about what Eva has meant to them, they have spoken of her guidance and mentoring, how she shaped them into the people they have become. She made everyone feel special, and she always had a smile to share.
Eva’s legacy will live on through all of the lives that she has touched over the years. She will be remembered for her kindness and for her endless compassion.
Memorial services Wednesday, April 26 at 6:30 at Memorial Park Funeral Services 8525 Mid Cities Blvd., North Richland Hills. The memorial service will be from 6:30-7:00 PM followed by visitation with family and friends until 8:00 PM.
