Lizabeth C. Buck 87, a longtime resident of Hurst, TX passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017 in Royse City, Texas.
Lizabeth was born August 15, 1929 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Harlan and Grace Cheuvront adopted her at age 7. After growing up in Ardmore, Oklahoma she lived most of her life in Hurst.
She was originally a Legal Secretary before finding her passion in volunteering. She spent many years volunteering with the American Red Cross, Citizens Patrol of Hurst, the Fort Worth Soup Kitchen, and many years with the HEB Hospital. She was instrumental in bringing women’s softball to Hurst as well as starting the Meals On Wheels program at her church. She had a passion for animals and for gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister and step brother. Lizabeth is survived by daughters Suzanne Olmon and husband Russ, and Lizanne Buck. Grandson Stephen Olmon and wife Jennifer.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
