Memories of Theo

Theo and my Dad, Elliot Sloan, were cousins, her mother was Mattie Belle Hagrave Gilmore Gardner and Dad's was Mary Ellen Hargrave Sloan. When my grandmother died in 1963, Theo, her Mother and sister Glenda came from Dalhart, Texas, for the funeal. Theo left her 1954 Ford at our house and went to Graham, Texas, with our Uncle John Hargrave and returnd later in the week for my grandmother's funeral. She left the keys with my Mother and told me to drive the car. I late reconnected with her when I worked at Hurst General Hospital, she was a kind and caring person and will be greatly missed. Rest peace cousin, one day we will all be together agan. Bill Sloa
